MinionNESs I: A New Beginning

ENGLAND

The people of England continue to prosper under God's will. You can see the sweat of pride under thier eyes as they mow those fields of hay and crops with many animals grazing apon the grass. Many find this new religion under God called Monothiesm, we will continue to research this new religion and find out new ways to go about it.

Our military has found bad terrain to the north which is not great areas for spending time on. We will enter this new region called Wales. Maybe more better land arise beyond our plains there.

Our new language which we will call. "English" will be taought all over London and the rural areas surrounding it. This new way of communtication has opened a new oppertunity for growth and money. This new oppertunity is called trade. We will set up trade posts where people will buy and sell stocks, we will call this the Stock Bag System. This system will bring new businseses into the area even if they do not have money to do it. We will begin this system with a series of outposts around London and maybe new Wales.

We will finish our expansion in this Huge Island for it is our Manifest Destiny.

ORDERS:
-Increase economy
-Make our first outpost for the New Stock Bag System in outer London (It will give an economy every 3 turns when I have 3 of them located) Cost is 1 economy. (It is probably like ports in china's last nes before his current one).
-Expand into Wales.
-Continue researching Monothiesm.

The Roman Emperor had heard of these people to the north, and wanted to know who they were and what they were like. He wanted to prevent as much bloodshed as possible, but still wanted the land. There was only one thing to do, and that was to explore. Only then would the Romans know for sure.

ORDERS:
Explore to north with existing army
Build army, have it go south

Arabia
Death of Saladin
Saladin had united his people, and from Mecca ruled a somewhat small empire, but this was important, never before had any clan gathered enough support to overwhelm the smaller tribes, as Saladin prepared his forces and settlers to start expanding, he died from malaria. everyone was afraid that the clan would collapse and the Arabs would just become a footnote in history, but as this happened, one man would rise from the confusion and command the people of his land, not only as a political and military leader, but a realigious one too.......

Muhammad takes power!
after a small power conflict, Muhammad took control of the army, he was recognized as a military genius and great statesman, but unlike saladin and everyone before him, he had come w/ a dream, literally a dream, he started preaching the words of Allah, whom he declared god, eventually he was known as the prophet of arabia........and eventually of all Muslims!

Orders:
grow army
move and expand w/ both army’s as in map.
leader name changed to Mohammed, the egyptian leader is also called saladin, so i want no confusion :).

we can do taht? they are kind of like small wonders

I don't think we can...I think Amirsan just wanted to...We should wait for the Mod's aproval

there are rules, they might be simple, but i still dont think we can make stuff up like that

Sorry Amirsan, I think it would be unfair for players to be able to add random little improvements to the game. I will consider adding something like this in a future age though.

I would like to quit as Greece, but rejoin as a nation called Detroit in present day, yeah, you guessed it, Detroit!

Make my same template as before, with my same orders as before please.

But please, a DIFFERENT color!

so would greece be independant, part of byzantum (wishful thinking), or just taken off the map?

Greece will be split up and become an NPC (i.e. Sparta, Athens, Corinth)

I have everyone's orders. Way to go guys :goodjob:.

Well except for EQandcivFanatic :(

I'll wait for him to give his orders and I'll update tomorrow afternoon.

My decision on Amirsans improvements thingy: You'll be able to build ports in Classical age, and a few other important things in the others, but nothing that couldn't be easily kept track of.

i've already started update :)

But I need to go eat dinner :(

So I'll get it done in about an hour or so :D

Update, 3800 B.C.

In Germany, hunting becomes popular, making it's way into German tradition. The villages of Berlin and Magdeburg become important centers of festivals and other such activities. German hunters come from far reaches of the forests to trade the pelts of their prey, increasing the German economy. The Germans control more lands than the elders can ever remember they had.

In Egypt, the Egyptians find copper deposits in the deserts to the East and West. The journeys to and from the mines are hard and many Egyptians think a new city should be made near them. Expeditions North and South fail to find the great water, but the Northern men reports that the Nile river branches out in many different directions sprawling towards the North.

In Central Europe, the Celts achieve contact with a tribe of distant relatives known as the Gauls. They're also Celts, bur have different beliefs and gods. The Celts that we're familiar with, begin to settle more and more in their capital. A combination of this population influx and the discovery of wine result in an increased economy.

In Japan, hill-side farming first appears. The Japanese learn how to build farms that will prosper even in their hilly lands. The increase in food helps along the population, but not in the cities. With new land to the South and East, these sons and daughters of farmers build more farms in the new territories. Another Japanese "clan" sends an emissary to them later that year, they call themselves the Mori.

In Hawaii, the monarch sets up a strict Polytheistic doctorine. Several gods become prominent as the Hawaiians set about building many great stone temples to them. With the help of their canoes, the Hawaiians expand to the big island next to their mother isle. They discover groups of discontent cannibals who immediatly attack the Hawaiian outpost, but Hawaiian warriors manage to hold them back. The colonists ask for help from the main army. Research has begun on boat-building, as wise-men draw out plans in stone on how to best construct voyaging vessels.

In Byzantium, a new army is put together. Along with their comrades, they march off to cut of Thracia nexpansion into Northern Greece. The land is called Macedonia and the Byzantines manage to subjuguate the outer regions of it. The Thracians become suspicious of Byzantine intentions. The Byzantines try to think of how to use sharp metals as weapons. They seem to be on the verge of discovering it, but need metal deposits first, which they currently don't have. To the south, rumors of a small confederation of city-states are persistant.

In Morroco, the Almohads expand along the Atlantic coast. Roads are built from the main villages to the capital, making a loosely maintained network of travel throughout the land. The ruler tried to increase his army, but was unsuccesfull (you can't update army and economy in same turn). To the North, a people called the Moors live in various little chiefdoms.

In England, the English begin to practice a revolutionary system in which there is only one god. English becomes the most commonly spoken tongue in all of Britian. The English expand into a Northwestern land called Wales, building the city of "Manchester" on top of some hills in the region. Wales however is already home to the Welsh, who have a defiant kingdom setup slightly to the South.

In Rome, armies diverge in two directions. The Southward "legion" finds beutiful grazing lands rich in wine and metal deposits. They propose to the emperor to build a city there, "Neopolis". Meanwhile, expansion to the North is temporarily halted with the discovery of a kingdom along the Adriatic sea, called Etruscia. The Etruscian people welcome the Romans.

In Arabia, a man named Mohammed gains power, creating a new religion called Islam. Arabs are quick to join, seeing that not much seperation between the classes exists for now. Mohammed orders hasty expansion. More men are recruited into the army and they quickly subjuguate lands to the North. Much territory is gained, partly because the land is flat desert, and partly because only Bedouins live in the area.

In a land called Michigan, the Detroiters set up a small village on the banks of lake Erie. They call it Detroit and begin to expand in all directions. A great trade in furs results in an increased economy. To the North they meet a people called the Hurons.
