By isometric A Viking Yeti means you should rotate it towards the camera. You should be looking down at it at a slight angle. The projection should be orthographic.
Yes, that is true now that I think about it. I can't test it in game, and I don't have any sort of model, so changing the angle would be very annoying. If anyone is willing to test it in game, that would be great.
I thought of that, but then I realised, the majority of the units have no access to fire. I mean, it would look pretty good, but it would also be unrealistic. Another reason I didn't make it was I have no clue how to draw fire.
Mmm... I will not care if it seems a little bit unrealistic.. what the others say?
And, btw, the units perhaps doesn't have a weapon that produce fire, but always the armies at the end were able to burn houses, flags and a more things..so, why not?
If you poke around the fantasy units you might find a fire spell or unit that uses fire sufficiently.
Also, the flag seems to be moving unnaturally. it's too uniform. I would simply suggest moving the area closer to the pole slowly while the farther edge flaps loosely at a faster pace. This should give it a more realistic look. It could also go limp for a second as if the wind died.
