Hi All,
I discovered this great site, while looking for the old manual and charts of Civ1.
I played that game so much some ten years ago, so that when I got the mobile version on my Nokia 9210, I could not resist again to the addiction.
A small developper company developped it for Palm OS, Pocket PC platform as well as Symbian/series 60 phones (Nokia 9210, 9210i, other phones to be supported in the future I'm sure e.g. Nokia 3650, 6600, 7650 Ericcson P800, P810, Siemens SX1, ...).
However right now we can only enjoy the shareware version (Try it on your Nokia 9210(i)), because they have licensing problem with Infogram (copyright owner) that does not want so far to sell them the license.
There are ongoing online petitions to support the release of Mobile Civilization for Mobile platform:
- Petition on kokeshnet.com
- Cliesource petition
At least enjoy the shareware version (exactly the same Civ1 I had on my first PC
)
Cheers!
