This mod uses a modified rules set to make Civ3 more battle oriented. The units are mainly restricted to pre-industrial ages with technological advances slowed somewhat. Do not expect civilizations and units to be historically correct, they are NOT intended to be. The units depend only on resources rather than technological advances to start building the better units.
The goal of this mod is to create chaotic battles using the older pre-industrial age units modified with entirely new abilities and stats. To accomplish this only the rules set was changed and some civs were deleted without adding anything to keep the mod size to a minimum.
I had planned on releasing this with a map but I'm having/had a heck of a time balancing the civs and units alone. The auto map generates decent enough maps for the mod to be effective.
Features/Changes(short list):

-Number of civilizations reduced to 8 for unit balancing purposes.
-Technological advances slowed to 100 turns per tech to prevent modern units.
-Essential buildings and civ abilities given at start.
-Essential units given at start but require specific resources to build them.
-Each civ has a unique "super" unit.
-In addition to the "super" units, each civ has a couple of powerful units which are "uncommon"(only a few other civs can also build it).
-All range units can defend its tile as well as have a small chance to fire on enemy units moving in tiles adjacent to them.
-Some uncommon and super units can do multiple attacks/bombards either by blitzing the enemy or attacking the same square as long as they have enough turns remaining.
-Some units have been given stealth ability
-Artillery has been modifed to actually be useful in taking heavily fortified/defended cities as well as defending tiles.
-Increased shield production and farming to speed up production and growth.
-Can build army unit which has also been improved.
-Movement rate of some units upped.
-Aggression level of civs increased.
-Naval vessels usefulness increased.
