I forgot I had this problem in one of my single player games earlier on....
I think one of the CivGold Civilizations has this glitch when you first meet them
I am not sure...but I didnt meet all AI civs at the time.... and it wasnt related to any construction of wonders/buildings/troops or troop/worker movement... because I toyed around with them in WB... with no luck![]()
it maybe also when a civ was trying to contact me (to declare war/trade/peace)
I was at war with one civ at that time...
Again I am not sure but I think it was the AI opening Diplomacy chat window with one of the CivGold Civs...
(I was using only CivGold Civs as AIs at this point)
I cant remember all the AI civs but when I started a new game with some different civs I didnt get any crashes...
(and no crashes in MP btw)
dont know if this helps (particularly with Kimbal's crash)
but that's my opinion![]()
FYI:
I havent seen a crash at all, since I mixed up the AI civs in MP
(I maybe getting lucking and not picking the AI with the crash bug)
I'll keep you posted
Thanks for the suggestion; I've looked over them briefly, but not in too much detail. I'll take a look at them in more detail down the road, but I want to be very careful when incorporating elements from other mods, as I don't want to merely copy them, nor do I want mine to be too similar to theirs. Thanks for the suggestion.Propunk said:Have you checked the new units in Extended mod and Realism 2.0?They could make your mod even better!

In the mod, I had intended secularism to be somewhere between free religion and an atheist state (I had originally labeled it 'Separation of Church and State' but the name was too long to fit in the civics screen). My intention was that religions where free to exist, but the followers themselves would become somewhat unhappy as their cause(s) were not represented (or at least not from their perspective). From a gameplay standpoint, I wanted it to be an option for people who didn't put too much of an emphasis on spreading religion (or who simply were unfortunate to not have discovered any and had few or none spread into their land). Do you think this could or should be represented in a different way, or simply a different title? Thanks for the input. One more thing: I noticed that free religion carries bonuses that secularism doesn't, I mean, if the state is secular, it should allow religious freedom, right? However, every time I adopt it, I get angry citizens demanding free religion. Maybe it should be changed, unless secularism (in the game)means an atheist state.
First off, thanks for the feed back! I'm glad you are enjoying the mod!Genghis_Kai said:Great mod!![]()
Would you consider adding a few more Asian civs in your mod? Suggestions are:
*snip*
This certainly doesn't reflect the real population distribution in the world. Some of the civs I suggested are already created by other people so you just need to include them.
Other than that![]()

It was the Albanian Kalorse. I missed it's definition in UnitArtDefines.xml when I copied them over from Civ Gold.Officer Reene said:thx for your help on tracking down the pesky error![]()
which UU was it?
so I can fix it in the meantime......![]()

Honestly, that depends. I've added a second UU to each of the civs, most of them original (which took me a LOT longer than anticipated, especially those last couple of civs), but I have not had a chance to set up all of the new models and skins for them.Kimbal said:I don't mean to be rude of anything but could you giveus an ETA on the next version, like a week or more like a fortnight?

fitchn said:If I simply use the existing skins, I can have the next version up within the next day or so; but if I use the new models and skins, it will take me considerably longer.
fitchn said:Which would you prefer? (this question applies to all readers...)
fitchn said:I apologize for the repeated delays, but rest assured I am making significant progress...!
Kimbal said:WOW, I like the second UU thing.
I for one rather prefer to have existing ones and be able to do some testing on this version as soon as possible.
This way if there is some bug or something not working as it whould we can find it and take care of it sooner
Officer Reene said:I believe that new models and skins would be cool... and I wouldnt mind waiting for them....
I believe the quality should outweigh the speed of the release... if the speed trumps the quality of the mod... .just my thought
fitchn said:Hmmm... a split verdict... figures!I'll tell you what, I'll get as much as I can done by the end of the week, and post whatever I have at that point. Whatever I don't get done will be done for a future release. Fair enough?
Thanks for the feedback!
