Mod Compatability

Hello, I'm new to this mod, so I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of submods for ffh. Now, as the title suggests, I am wondering about the compatibility for all these submods. In particular, I am interested in MarnokMod's Explorable Lairs, Fall Further, and Modcomp XML Cleanup & Expansion.

Of course, the point is moot right now since they're incompatible with the new 0.33 that just got released. But for future reference when these creators release new versions of their submods, I would like to know whether these mods are compatible with each other. Do I just overwrite the files and it'll be ok?

Depends on what they edit, some will go together fine, some won't.


Fall further is a great modmod,, has a lot of features from a lot of good mods, and many other mods try to make theirs compatible with his I believe.
 
XML Cleanup has been merged into Fall Further. Now Vehem and I work together on that one mostly. Haven't actually updated the MODCOMP since that merger. MODCOMP is meant to alter fairly little of how the game works and just add more options to modders of the base FfH.

Marnok's early work is included in FF, and eventually his latest work probably will be as well. Vehem's call on precisely when and in what manner (ie - what changes will be made during the merge), but most likely it will wait till Marnok is done balancing/tweaking the code so that updates are infrequent.
