[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

I used a converter to change 10.28am EST into GMT, and it said 4.30pm...
But then again, technically the time zone here is BST (british summer time)
So im not sure of the exact time...

4.30pm....... or maybe 5.30pm BST, well, as I get home from work at 6.15, go online & start the download.
Then go back out to work for an hour & half or so, then back home.........
g/f is working late tonight so wont see her.
I think that means it's a perfect time for the update, & a whole night of playing this great game.:D

I had problems with the game yesterday, I could not have cult of dragons as my religion.... even though I was the first to discover it. It told me what i'd get, but could not change to it, even with two of my 3 cities being cult

Thank you so much

As far as I've understood ur not supposed to take cult of dragons as a religion... it's a cult not a religion... (I remember reading it somewhere)

BUT... u do get a real nice dragon unit later on as far as I could see (never played that far with the two civs that can actually get the cult of dragon) so get the cult of the dragon, and then get a 2nd "real" religion...

Its not a real religion, so you can never convert to it. It just gives you a little boost of culture in the holy city and sucks culture out of other civs cites (exept kuriotates and sheaim). as far as I know; im no expert.

I am Sheaim so that was ok.
If it's not a religion, can you be Cult of dragons, & then say take another religion, like found the Ashen Vale or Order, and be that religion aswell as cult of dragon cities?

Cult of the Dragon-Forgotten and ignored by the gods some men have turned to worshipping the great dragons that once fought over the land and now lie dormant beneath it. Within the Kuriotate and Sheaim civilizations these groups have begun to gather in strength, forming small cults with very different agendas. But they all agree that dragons are divine and find their draconic gods to be much more accessible than empty prayers offered in the temples.

A cult is unlike other religions, it can not be adopted as a state religion and makes your empire harder to manage and control. Having the Cult of the Dragon in one of your cities has the following effects.

1. 20% of the living units produced in that city will start with the Cult of the Dragon promotion. If a Cult of the Dragon unit is in a tile owned by the holder of the Cult of the Dragon holy city he has a 3% chance to convert to serving that civilization.

2. The Cult of the Dragon reduces the cities culture by 1 each turn. This can cause the city to be destroyed if it runs out of culture. This does not effect Kuriotate or Sheaim cities.

This religion can only be founded by the Kuriotates or Sheaim.

This is all the info I could find about the cult... it's in post #3

And just like any other "religion" you can have the dragon cult "holy city" and convert to another religion... it's not like u loose anything by doing so?!? (please do correct me devs if I'm in over my head here).

Thanks, I was a bit confused, as it was telling me what benifits I could have in my cities, but I could'nt get them. At least now I know that I should get the Cult and then another religion. Glad to here that it will also have a holy city now, can't wait to get home & play the new mod :goodjob:

Absoluteley correct jselsmark.

Furthermore there will be a shrine for the cult of the dragon in 0.13 thus allowing you to gain additional benefits if the religion spreads.

*cough* *cough* *it hasnt made it in yet* *cough* *kaels a slacker* *cough*

Nope, patchs are only for fixes. Versions that add new versions require a completly new download.
