[MOD] MaxRigaMod - video+1901-1941-1961-2001 scenar.

It was Emperor mode. I got my workers by capturing 2 workers from argentina and building 2 more, totalizing 5 workers(i started with one).

About the 1941 scenario, i finished in 4th place when the game crashed. I´ll send a screenshot tommorow :)
 
Need some help.
First off, let me say this mod is wonderful. The hours spent creating this have payed off in spades!
I'm playing the U.S.(1961 scen.), I cannot land f-15s nor p38s on my carriers. Is this normal? Is there an advance carrier I haven't found or are there only certain fighters that can land?

f15 and p38 never land on carriers! so, you can land planes on carrier which u can do in real only ;) please, open readme file ( in maxrigamod.zip ) to see which ones or go to my website ( units page )

Recently while playing a game that I had all but won the game crashed. Loaded it up again, and again it crashed on the same month as before (Oct'86) this happens a few turns after Argintina and South Africa have gone to war (not sure if that matters?). I saw somewhere that if you load from an Auto save you will get past the problem. Not so in my case. Anyway if there are any other suggestions i'd love to hear them as I want to make my Soviet Socialist Empire rule the whole world not just Asia and Europe :ar15:

I havent had the game crash on other mods so I highly doubt it is my computer.

it's not ur problem it really happan but it's not my mod problem too. it crashes ( as i think ) when AI is loading units onto transports. the reason why i think this way cause it crashes with me sometimes when i'm doing this! so if u r launching ur last autosave and AI in war with another AI it will still be uploading units on it. best way ( unfortunatelly ) is to give money to any of the nation in war to make peace with another nation.

i'm sorry for this bug, but i think it's 1.61 patch problem

Ahh yes, I thought it was something like this... I thought it had to do with the use of nuclear weapons though (for no real reason). Thanks for the feedback. I will see what I can do to get them to end hostilities.
 
Healy here. Actually the F-15 Strike Eagle should be able to land on a carrier. It does in real life, as a fleet fighter along with the F-14 Tomcat which was now retired. I should get you a picture of the F-15 at sea at some stage. I should also probably find out about which Soviet Fighters are sea-going as well for you. Oh well. Now to more serious matters. I was going to talk about another little problem about getting rid of obsolute units from the list... I was about to say that by careful study of the xml files, it should be easy to work out how to make the A7V go into the tank into the modern armour and be upgraded. Basically upgrading means that the unit junks its previous equipment and gets new equipment. The cost is related to training and providing that new equipment. This would be a way of getting rid of that problem with obsolete units still being trainable in the later game. I know it might delay Maxrigamod 5 studying this stuff, but I believe that it is necessary to get the upgrade tree working for this mod. I will try at some stage to do my own exploration and provide you with advice on where to find the obsolete units section. I might even be able to fix the one for 4.1 for you and then that gets spliced into version
5. Anyway it is something for you to think about.

su33 is included into maxrigamod5 already as russian carrier jet. maybe mig29K will be included too.

do u think it's possible? :))))) let's make from a7v a abram, for example, lol

it's not a problem to make units obsolute by upgreats! but i just hate it because it's soooo unreal, so, i want to find another decision of this obsolute problem.
 
Hi. this looks like a great mod. but I have not been able to load it. when the game restarts it self it stops and some bug meesage comes up telling me that this operation wasn´t possible bla bla bla. and stuff.
Is there a possibility that you make the mod self installing or somthing?
 
Vi que existem alguns brasileiros no forum, meu problema é o seguinte tenho o civ 4 v.1.61 e não to conseguindo fazer funcionar esses cenarios se vcs poderem me ajudar eu agradeço

Has someone a hint for me:

When i´m playing some scenario (1941/61 or Stalingrad) the text isnt shown correct: neither the descripton of the techs, leader trails, units abilitys/skills nor the items of the main menü (save/load and those) are shown.


Maybe it has something to do that I´m using the german version.?
