What PATCH does the Mod work with... ????
I saw a previous post saying you need patch 1.09... but then I read later that you need patch 1.52.. its becoming very confusing...
since the Mod is called 1.09 I'm assuming you need patch 1.09...is this correct..??? :crazyeye:

Civ4 Patch 1.52, Realism Mod Patch 1.09.

Download Realism 1.0 and copy the content of the patch 1.09 into the modfolder. Voila!

houman and the rest of the creators should consider adding these 2 new units, look at the 2 new units that are in the battle for east asia scenario mod....

the new units are the modern versions of S.A.M. and modern artillery and these units were made by fireaxis programmers:D

Can we get more free missionaries when a religion is founded? So that we can at least spread it in the general area of the founding city.

I cant wait for the new version to come out today! I will download it immediatly once its out.

Anyone know what time today he will release it?

To Houman and the rest of the team,
Guys you re doing a great job..... I start using your Mod 2 weeks ago... can't stop playing it....
Keep up the good job,

Hi guys,
Does anyone knows how to have a unit promoted to the rank of avatar (or other green promotion in the ciliopedia) in this Mod ???

My dears, where did I say we will release it today. :) Sweet.

Thanks and we really appreciate your feedback. The next version is not just a 1.61 compatible version but a new Mod with new features. I know you guys are waiting now since 2-3 weeks, but the patience will be rewarded well. Meanwhile just keep playing and send us improvement comments. ;)

Kind regards
Houman

Hi Lafrip, This function is in 1.09 disabled, since the function caused problems. We will work on it and make it available for the next version. *crossthefingers*

I think the date Houman put on the first page was when he updated the information on that page, not the release date.Houman keep up the great work.this is the only mod I play, and I will not update to 1.61 until this mod is compatible with it.I also would like to play it today to.

P.S. I don't type very fast,Houman beat me to it.

Which is better, this or the Sevo mod ? Any non-biased answers ? I don't know which one to try.

What tastes better apple or pear?

They are both good, just different. Each has a unique philosophy behind it:

Sevo doesn't alter the game play, which stays pure vanilla, adds extension from other mods and make new ones. From my point of view it is focusing more on fun rather than realism. (e.g. Scientific Trait - 20% more science etc)

Realism mod heavily alters the game play, units, combat, techs, timeline, religions and focuses first on Balance to provide chances for all Civs, then on Realism to give each civ a special flavor and then on fun.

There is really no sense behind comparing mods. All of them are good and bring variety and new ideas, which is important for making progress.

You can just install both of them at the same time and play them both and see which one you like more.

Kind regards

Well, I'm lookin for something like the Double your pleasure and the sequel (can't remember the name) for Civ3. So I guess that would be this realism mod then, right ? Is there anything even closer to that one ? Are the makers of DoubleYourPleasure making a mod for Civ 4 too ?

And thanks for your help.

yay its almost ready...

for future versions look at some of sharick unit graphics that is one good looking trebuchet and other units...
