Mod that removes National Borders/Culture?

Is there a mod that drastically changes the way that national borders/culture works? I understand that I can turn city culture flipping off but I don't believe that changes how the national borders expand. I'd like a more 'realistic' national borders system.

Have you tried Influence Driven War?

This is, in my opinion, the single best mod created for CIV.

@phungus420- thanks for the suggestion. I will try it, or actually the Revolution mod that contains it. The idea of military being able to influence is a little more 'realistic'. Keeping troops on the border and all.

@phungus420: I tried Revolution and Influence Driven War through that- I like it but it isn't exactly what I am looking for. Culture still influences national borders and garrisoning troops does nothing, only battles. It is a step in the right direction, for what I want, but not completely. Thanks though!
