hi i have no clue how to mod i tried looking tuterterals up and did not get iy.


can someon make a b=mod that lets u use 4 work boats and u can make a navel base that can be used as a look out on the sea and can make navel groups . you can only buld the boats no where between 5 hexas of a city
you can make them in deep water wit a upgrad efor waork boat that lets u go in deep water also it cost no happiness/conomey changes and can grow

Why not just build an ordinary city as your naval base? build it on a small island and it will be the same.

cause if your playing on a huge earth map and spawn in america u might want somthing in beetween u and euorope so u can tell if a enemy is coming also so you navy can become as iportent as your land army

If it's about knowing that enemy is coming, put destroyers or caravels in between. Also, patrol the European shore and you'll know what they are up to without a naval base.

I'm not discouraging you from naval base idea, but modding is a compromise between what you ideally want, what can reasonably be done and how much time it will take. If what you want can be effectively achieved by much simpler means (as it seems in this case), there is little motivation for someone to create a mod.
