the DLC still use .dep and .modinfo

could serve as example for mods I suppose

Oh darn. It uses javascript instead of Lua now? Well there goes 2 years of preparation...

That's a shame. I like Lua. Javascript, not so much.

no gameplay DLL visible, everything must be part of the big exe files, IDK if we can extract something out of them with Denuvo. Let's hope the tools will provide an API for JS

It's interesting that the Age system is broken into different modules, each loaded independently from each other, and each has a modinfo file.

core.modinfo
base-standard.modinfo
age-antiquity.modinfo
age-exploration.modinfo
age-modern.modinfo

must be linked with the cause of the loading screen between era...

Unloading old assets, loading new ones, maybe because of civ6 assets limit bug if they've kept the same engine ?

I wonder how they handle the last age's buildings that stay on the map after transition then

(individual questions should go in the help section, I'll edit the OP)

That's sad. I think everything relate to unit models need to wait until the SDK release?

IDK, I've just no idea if it's possible at this moment, maybe someone will find how to do it.

Do you think GameEffects are updated in different manner to Database? It seems to not be part of Database and has generally different scheme.

128 tiles max for map width ATM.

Thought it was all snow tiles at first

Looks great
I see. I have thought that by "solid" you mean the unit model is a whole piece not assembled with various component models (body, head, helm, weapon, etc.) -- that's certainly not the case.

"Solid" is commonly used as slang in English for "good" or "decent".

e.g. "He's a solid guy." --> "He's a pretty good guy."

GlobalParameters are no longer contained within a single XML file - looks like it's split out to the "relevant" files. Here's a dump of the Antiquity Global Parameters.

EDIT: Huh. There's definitely Civ6 artifacts in there.
