Modern Era games

I was wondering if there are any games set in the modern era like Hearts of Iron or Victoria?

I've already tried Superpower but its impossible to do anything in the world without being invaded or nuked

Superpower is just plain crazy and off-the-wall unrealistic. Dont know any other games like that unfortunately. Maybe paradox will someday make one.

I've had 0 problems playing games online. If I'm on a server with people I don't like I change servers. (Especialyl with games that have thousands of servers, there is no reason not too (unless it's your's or your clan's)).
