Modern Unit Graphics

I must not have been very clear with my explanation.

The problem is with the Windows interface and doesn't have anything to do with the game itself. When I download .zip files and send them to my Civilization library, the resulting files appear normally when I access them via My Computer. However, when I download files from the Scenario League forum via Save Picture As, the files are invisible and do not appear via My Computer or any normal use of the computer. The only time they are visible is when I save more files from the Scenario League, at which point my previously saved files from the League appear with little lock icons in the bottom left hand corner. They are otherwise invisible when navigating my Windows 7 interface.

I hope this description is more useful.

Not sure what the problem is here Alsdbron. Have you tried saving somewhere other than 'My Documents' or wherever your browser defaults to?

Love the lightning. That baby was a missile with wings!

Yeah :) I saw one at a Fairford airshow years ago - as soon as the fella lifted off and retracted his undercarriage he put it on full reheat and went pretty much vertical until he disappeared in the clouds at god-knows what altitude. All in about 30 seconds

Btw, which Century jets have you not covered? I have itchy drawing fingers :)

Awesome work Gareth! Outstanding!
If I could choose just one, that would be the F14 Tomcat. Of Topgun fame. It is not easy to draw either, it is a bit of a challenge. It would be greatly appreciated.

In Iranian hands it claimed 159 air kills against Saddam, supposedly.

I'll second that

Also a small addition to the collection that Tim is steadily amassing:

Oh OK. I was thinking more of the Century series US jets of the '50's, surely the coolest looking bunch of planes in history.

You have drawn a F-104 and an F-100(?), and I was thinking of of F-101, 102, 105 and 106.

I know, I plead guilty, I was just pushing it...

Well, I have made a so/so F105 too, but I think that the old workhorse deserves more love from you (as do all of them). Definitely the most battle-tested and scenario usable of the bunch.
The F104 was the most prolific but it didn't see as much combat.
The F100 is somewhere in the middle.
The F101s really only usable in a Cuban missle crisis scenario.
F102/F106 are essentialy the same developing design dedicated to North American home defense.

But I would rather have the Tomcat, still... (Danger Zone playing on the background)

Hey, Typhoon, you are back! Great! You are working magic right off the bat there! What is next?

The member of the Canadian House of Commons who used to represent a constituency whose border is just a few blocks from me, a Laurie Hawn, who retired at the end of the Parliament elected in 2008, even though I didn't like him as a politician, he apparently had a background as having flown F-104's for the RCAF. I don't know if he actually saw combat, though (I'm doubting it, to be honest).

 Incredible Fairline's aircraft :goodjob:
:crazyeye: And a classic, hand in hand with Fairline, as Typhoon
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

No F-14 I'm afraid, but 2 of my fave Century-series planes: F100 Super Sabre and F-105 Thunderchief. The Thud comes in vanilla and 2-seat wild-weasel configuration

I'll do a F-100 in Vietnam camo if anyone wants one

Here's some updated / new US post-war tanks to go with Tanelorn's infantry and Tootall's Vietnam scenario:

Spectacular units Fairline!!!

And I have a question: I have several scenarios for TOT, three of Vietnam, and for Iron Curtain I need a Mi-8 and for Cold War Crisis a Ka-25 Hormone: Will you create?

thanks gents.

Tanelorn has got fantastic versions of the f-104, A-7, F-8 and f-111 already. I was tempted to do the better looking version of the Voodoo, the RF-101, but there wouldn't be much use for it in civ.

How's Burma coming along? :)
