Modified Civilization.exe file?

Hi

After i installed the new Patch things have bin running better....

But now and the my anti-virus pops up and say the exe file have bin modified, should it be allow to acces the net?

Is this a normal thing, and should i let it acces the net? Or Not... And will it stop popping up? (I got Panda)

Its annoying it always happends midgame, and close down Civ....

It's always best to close most programs including virus scanning software when you are in a game, especially most of todays games that are resource intensive. But mostly because this exact thing is what happens and it will disrupt your game.

Spyware software is ok, since even games these days seem to have spyware up and if it specifically detects spyware being installed with the game, its' best to get rid of the game. IMHO. But thats, at least, the one thing Civ IV doesn't have wrong with it.
