Mods aren't working

Greetings everyone.

I have this problem since I installed Civ5. So I have a Steam version of the game and the problem is that I can't deal with mods.

I downloaded lots of mods with in-game browser, installed them but they didn't appear in the Mods list. The only mod is Mongol Scenario, nothing else.

Then I visited Mods directory. I looks OK, has folders etc.


I hope you can help me. I have Windows 7 64 bit. Windows' language is Russian but I use English version of the game.

I have a different problem with mods: After installing the latest patch, nothing happens when I click on "MODS" in the main menu in the game. Help!!!

Edit: Re-installing fixed my problem.

Got ir. Mods didn't work because of Russian windows username. I renamed the user and the folder and now it works perfectly.

o_O that should have been fixed with the first patch, strange.

Seems like the fix doesn't work for some systems.

Interesting .
Might probably only have solved the problems with western european special characters...i'm wondering if anyone in China or Japan has the same problems.
