Mods don't work: No custom game option available

Hi all, i am having a problem with the mods, maybe you guys can help me. I download and install mods perfectly fine, except after i check them off and go to single player mod, there is no custom game option, only when i check the mongol scenario, which is not a mod, does it show. please help

I don't understand what's your problem. go to the mod menu ingame, select those you want, select single player (from the mod menu), launch a new game et voilà.

When i do that it doesnt load the mod settings, and from what i understand there should be something that says custom game under it, because i tested it with hukkaks civ pack, and when i just simply chose single player from mod menu it didnt load any of the civs

the custom game is only activated/used by some specific mods (or DLC).

Ok i figured it out, it wasnt the mods, it was hukkaks mod specifically, and two other mods that i tried

I'm going to go ahead and bump this. I have the same problem. Except I just installed the game off of steam, and I don't have the option to do a custom game. No option whatsoever. any help would be greatly appreciated.
