Well, I've seen some, and I have not yet seen a Ghandi roleplay. I've decided to make one, I will now list the requirements and than I'll explain them.

*No Wars whatsoever. If you want someome dead, hire another civ.

*Force England From Your Borders Using Diplomacy

*Civics:
Universal Suffrage- Must Have
Slavery- Never. No excuses.
Emancipation- Must Have
Free Relegion- Must Have

*No Trade With England Until Borders Freed

*One City With Unhappiness Max By End Game

Well let's see... No wars is self-explanatory, Gandhi never wanted to wage war. For forcing England out using diplomacy, well...(this includes hiring other civs to do the dirty work) Gandhi worked to free India from British control. The Civics... Universal Suffrage is becuase that is what he worked for... the rights for his people. Same with Emancipation. Slavery should be explained by having Emancipation, and he also(sorta, kinda) brought in Free Relegion. At first I thought that I could make it Free Relegion or Hinduism as an end game relegion.... but I said no. The Trade With England.... He wouldn't support Churchill during WWII until Britian basically liberated India, but once he did let them free, he helped with the war effort. For no more than one city with unhappy, he made India happy :D.

It has no fancy graphics at the beggining(That Stalin RP looked amazing :D) but it is good for just a basic RP? It might seem kinda strange, but does it follow history? Some? Just wanted to know. I don't care if it's Vanilla, Warlords, or Beyond The Sword. I'd prefer you'd have Churchill as the leader, though.

Actually India still has a mix of Caste system and Emancipation even today.

In terms of economy it was Mercantile/state property from 1947 to 1991. After 1991 it is mostly a free market economy.

as far as legal civics are concerned something in between Bureaucracy and Free speech.

No wars, period.
*chuckle* This fits the ultimate peaceknick of Civ IV. But what if someone brings war to your door? Is one allowed to "repel borders"?

(and I love the next one. "Hire another civ to kill enemies". *laughs*)

Things dealing with other civs I don't like, but then again, I don't play custom games all that much. IF you have the British (or run a custom and put the brits in there), then the Brit-specific one may work. Certainly will have the feel of India, yes it would.

Civics: What can you have, until you reach the "must haves"? If you look at mine, I'm going to be/am currently having a happy problem, due to a lack of early civics (only one: Slavery. And THAT'S not a happy civic.)

Sounds like fun though (and one does not need fancy graphics to do one of these, esp. for Ghandi. Ghandi doesn't need shinys to prove himself).

I like the idea. India tend to go "Beyond The Sword" to solve some military problems (like in Nepal for instance) so all adds nicely. Good luck and don't go anywhere lower than Prince :king:

Basically, you can have any civic other than slavery while clawing your way up, but if you don't have the ones I asked of you by end game, you've lost. I might change this rule though, I might add some things after I look over the civics again. I'm actually going to request that you play a custom game with the second slot a British AI, I don't care what the leader is, I'd prefer Churchill, but, considering I don't have BtS or Warlords, I'm understanding if you are running Vanilla. :D
