Right so, I just bought Civilization 3 on steam. I'm a huge fan of Civ 4 and 5 and i wanted to try some of the older ones. I bought it downloaded it and set up a game with no problems but when the first in game screen came with you'r one settler and the game tiles my monitor shut off. about 3 seconds later it came back on, and then 3 second after that shut off again. It kept doing this for a minute before i gave up and shut it down through task manager. Any insight or help on this matter would be great. I just want to get to playing the game and in its current state it is impossible. Thanks.
