Sounds great Nad. I'll try to shadow your game but RL has been cutting into my civ time lately and I don't know if I will have the time needed to participate.

If the unforseen happens, I would be honoured to fill in.

I'd also like to show my interest for emperor, if you get another game running Will watch the current one with much interest.

I agree on not using industrious, it's hard to learn to use slow workers. On the same account religious is nice to learn to live without, especially when you can't afford more then one revolution, maybe 2.

Great! Looks like we can start to get it rollin! Though I still gotta get my computer so around the 14 to the 16th. I'll be up and running in no time. Though untill then we can make the threads and discuss pre-game issues.

I don't think I have ever tried out the Mongols either. The keshik does not sound familiar. I would be interested in trying them out as well.

I am flexible on the rest of the settings.

We are discussing the civ choice now, I think it would be best to make the two threads right now, Nad.

I'll split off the threads as soon as the maps have been generated and the 4000BC save can be posted, but I need to know the civ choice to do that.

Ok, I'm thinking either Mongolia, (I haven't used them in ages) or the Iroquise. I am a big fan of Iroquise but I have not used Mongolia in a while now.

We're all set! Amirsan is taking the monarch game (Team Python) and I have the honour of the emperor game (Team Monty)

This is the link to the emperor game....Amirsan will have the monarch game up shortly.

The civ for the monarch game is Mongolia, and for the emperor game it is Korea (sorry Yaype! Since the monarch game took militaristic/expansionist, I wanted to use two different traits for our game, except industrious, and I settled on Korea as a nice balance and an under-used civ. I'm sure you'll still learn plenty with them even if you've already played them).

We're having a small problem with our save, Python, I notified Nad about it. We wont be able to start the game though, I need my PC. Though when its fixed with Nad I'll start the thread for pre-game discussions.
