The closest thing I have seen so far to the original MoO2 is something on Kickstarter called 'M.O.R.E.'.

I like the idea they got, but I simply hate the race designs, 'Space Cows'?

I don't think that we will ever seen something as good as MoO2, after the disaster that were MoO3. I had so high hopes to play it, only to have my dreams shattered by it...

MoM is Master Of Magic. It was by Steve Barcia (sp?). He made Master of Orion. A lot of people think it is the best of that type game, I am not one of them btw.
