More Civilisations

Which brings the question: what's the topic? There haven't been any updates for a while, so people are trying to speculate what the next update\ release might be.

Speculation is fine, but discussion about who the fattest leaders in the game are is a bit off topic.

As for the updates, we've got a civ that is pretty much done, but we don't have a leaderscreen for it and we're having trouble getting one. Sukritact's also got another civ in pretty much the same boat.

I've noticed some updates to your map in the OP. Gethype.jpg

Call me crazy but I don't see anything new.
I don't know if I just overlooked it last time I looked at the map, but I see a highlighted Greece, a civ in SE Asia with some sort of weird multi-headed elephant in the icon, and something tiny in Florida.

The Greek split, Laos and the Calusa (I believe)

They've been there a while but are kinda easy to miss, especially the Calusa.

Wasn't there another civ related to the calusa?

New Zealand
In Collaboration with: JFD

Settled in the 19th century primarily by the British Empire, the Dominion of New Zealand sought to both retain ties with and emulate her mother country during the formative years of the country. Prior to the First World War, and by some accounts even through to the end of the Second, New Zealand prized her association with Britain, and demonstrated as much through an attempt to build a society representative of the ideals of contemporary British society. However, even in these early years, New Zealand was unique in the empire and indeed the world with regards to the treatment of the Maori people, with one of the most integral founding documents of the Dominion being a treaty between the settlers and Tangata-Whenua. While this relationship was not always peaceful and smooth, it set New Zealand firmly on a path of forming a unique identity, with this path cemented through the Gallipoli campaign of World War One, which began on April 25, 1915.

And of course, by collaboration I mean JFD did all the work and I'm taking credit for it

In all seriousness though, while he did do all of the design and code for it, it was my first leaderscene (with a little polish from Jan) and so since I did the non-icon art (and the civ icon) I checked with JFD if it was okay to be counted as a JFD-MC collab and he agreed, so yeah. It's definitely far more a JFD mod than a MC one though, so be sure to give him credit for it here. It also gives a chance to show off the new colours for the infobox, which will be used for all inter-project collabs in the future (mostly with LITE in the immediate future I think)
