More crashes than turns played.

I'm playing on a laptop running Win 7 with all specs met, Nvidia 540M series, DirectX 11. The game is unplayable, it crashes every other turn. I had a similar problem with Civ V recently that resolved itself with a driver update, after getting much worse after 2 other driver updates, so I'm very reticent about even checking for an update now that everything is fine with V. So frustrating. I don't know how to make logs of anything, if anyone cares to teach me, that would be nice. Just posting to offer comfort to other frustrated users really, I'm sure there are many patches and stuff to come that will alter everything anyway so...

Could you please post your dxdiag? Hit the "Windows key" + "R", type in dxdiag, hit enter. A menu will appear, with a save option at the bottom right. Select this, save it as a file and attach it.

Also, any mdmp file that corresponds with a crash - the default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth and the file will be a .mdmp file.
