[GS] More domestic tourists than moon landing should give.

[1.0.0.314] I’ve discovered a bug that may be related to the overflow of culture gained when you finish the launch moon landing project.

Before you rush to correct me, I know the culture gain based on science is intentional and it subsequently gives the player an expected amount of domestic tourists on the turn of the landing but then the game continues to give many more domestic tourists for several more turns afterwards as long as you have culture overflow that you can’t completely spend.

I've shared a link to a non-modded single player game where I am about to launch the moon landing with about 700 science per turn. Upon getting the moon landing, you can see the expected 70 domestic tourist gain the next turn but this number continues to increase for no reason.

Domestic tourists go from: 166 to 238 (expected increase based on 700 science times 10 divided by 100) to 297 (bug) to 352 (bug) to 399 (bug) and so on

I think this is something Firaxis needs to fix because it seems unintentional and provides an unreasonable defence against the cultural victory, passively putting the foreign tourist goal way out of reach for anyone trying to win through culture.

Why does no one care about this game-breaking bug? This is clearly unintentional and ruins the game for someone trying to win a cultural victory. Seems much more important to me than things like intermittent visual glitches and trade exploits that you at least have the option not to exploit.

Picture this: you’re playing a lengthy game and you’re close to a cultural victory. Someone completes Moon Landing and instead of needing 200 foreign tourists, a few turns have gone by and you now need 500, a few more turns and you need 900. All while knowing that the developers only intended the number to go up by 70 or so instead of hundreds.

Now the turn count is probably going to end before you hit the mark you need to win.

Nobody responding <> nobody cares, or that nobody thinks it deserves fixing.

Trade exploits can be avoided by a player, but not if the AIs are gaining advantages through bizarre trade deals.
But don't despair! Give Firaxis another year or two. They might get around to fixing the moon landing bug.

Is it game breaking though? It's still faster to win a CV without the moon landing. Besides domestic tourism is defensive against your opponents' tourism. It doesn't actually help you win. I'm fine with such an important step on the SV giving you some breathing room from opposing tourism.
