1.i downloaded a mpg file from DC last night, and it seems to be working fine but when i tried to move i got a message saying its alreay being used by another application or another person which is weird i had closed DC down, and my modem was turned off
same thing today, can move it, cant delete it, nothing

how do i get rid of it?

2.yesterday i was surfing the web, entered this one site and got a norton anti virus message saying ive been infected with a virus called:
exploiter-6-attacker

or something like that, it also gave me a link with info about it, its a trojan where someone else can run certain applications on my computer it uses outlook express to give acces to an outside user
it gave me links to a microsoft page with several patches for the diffrent versions of outlook express

i tried to install them all,not knowing which one i need,on all of them i got
"x is not a valid win something program" on all of them but one:

that one said for this patch to work you need to have outlook express installed!(or something similar)

anyways the question is:

isnt outlook express automaticly installed with windows?(i have xp)

or do i have to actually run it and fill in which mail server i use and my password and etc for the virus to work?

i tried to do that few days ago but fortunately (?) typed something wrong so i cant send or recieve any mails with it,i have to use the hotmail.com page...

help please :(
i hate xp

your first problem is pretty common in XP. you can delete it through the DOS-Console. Start - Execute . Use "cd [directory where the mpg lies]" to navigate to the correct directory, then type "del [moviename].mpg" (e.g cd c:\temp\mymovies) and hit return. The file should be gone now.

If you keep on trying to move the file or move a different file first and then try the file again it will eventually move. I've had the problem before with DC++ that it still seems to want to access the file and not let you move them.

You might want to try getting a popup blocker if you don't already have one to lessen the chances of getting another virus.
