Before the patch there was a ironworks problem that didn't work.
Now it seems to.

With 1.09, I still can't get the values to add corectly.
Sometimes 2 hammers leads to 4, 6, or 7, depending on what I am building.
I get that by having no super, engineers, prophets, and no citizen specialists with no buildings of the required type.
I have a golden age and therefore 2 hammers on the city square only.

Similarily when I switch to bueracracy my capital goes from taking 6 turns to complete the space elevator to still taking 6 turns.
You would guess that a 50% increase, as it says in the civic screen, would make it go to 4 turns.
As far as I know the hammer affection tihngs are:
1. forge adding 25% more.
2. electrified factory adding 50%.
3. ironworks with both coal and iron present in my civ adding 100%.

The lab does seem to affect the SS part length but it still seems to be wrong.

I tried adding up the amounts, 1.75% more, and still had to multiply by about 1.5 to get it correctly.

When I removed all the working tiles and put them in artist, merchant, and scientist specialists, I had 2 hammers from the city square itself and 2 from each of the 3 super-prophets.
8 + (25% of 8) + (50% of 8) + (100% of 8) = 22.
The production bar said 34.

Anyone know why it doesn't seem to work?
Is there still a problem?
Are there any other things in 1.09 that change hammer production which aren't mentioned?

the +50% bonuses will be added together, then multiplied.
for example. your base hammer is 20. you have organised religion 25%, forge 25%, building a wonder from industrial trait 50%.
now thats 20 x (1 + 0.25+0.25+0.5) = 40 final hammers.
now in your case, you expected when you switch to bueracracy with 50% bonus, it doesnt really mean 50% applied on 40 final hammers, its added with the rest of % bonuses.
so 20 x (1 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.5 + 0.5) = 50 final hammers.
the production bar says 34 because you have hammer left over from your last project.

open your city screen, mouse over the hammer icon to the left of the hammer progress bar, it will give you a breakdown, including how many hammers are left over from production overrun on the item you just completed building

Actually I read here somewhere that the bonus from Bureaucracy is different from all others and indeed increases your total production by 1/2. But it might be bull****, of course.

Edit: It is bull****, it's just another +50%. I should not trust everything written in this forum.
