Before the patch there was a ironworks problem that didn't work.
Now it seems to.
With 1.09, I still can't get the values to add corectly.
Sometimes 2 hammers leads to 4, 6, or 7, depending on what I am building.
I get that by having no super, engineers, prophets, and no citizen specialists with no buildings of the required type.
I have a golden age and therefore 2 hammers on the city square only.
Similarily when I switch to bueracracy my capital goes from taking 6 turns to complete the space elevator to still taking 6 turns.
You would guess that a 50% increase, as it says in the civic screen, would make it go to 4 turns.
As far as I know the hammer affection tihngs are:
1. forge adding 25% more.
2. electrified factory adding 50%.
3. ironworks with both coal and iron present in my civ adding 100%.
The lab does seem to affect the SS part length but it still seems to be wrong.
I tried adding up the amounts, 1.75% more, and still had to multiply by about 1.5 to get it correctly.
When I removed all the working tiles and put them in artist, merchant, and scientist specialists, I had 2 hammers from the city square itself and 2 from each of the 3 super-prophets.
8 + (25% of 8) + (50% of 8) + (100% of 8) = 22.
The production bar said 34.
Anyone know why it doesn't seem to work?
Is there still a problem?
Are there any other things in 1.09 that change hammer production which aren't mentioned?
