Ok so the US gov. likes to use false and misleading propaganda to make pot look like the most evil thing in the world. And some people eat it up like Lucky Charms in morning.

I just wonder how people can be stupid enough to think that by exagerating their point to ridicule proportions they would succeed in delivering their intended message.

Wow, does anyone pay attention to either side anymore? does either side bother with anything remotely resembling truth anymore?

Meh... truth is sooooo overrated... ;)

Personally, the most effective drug discouragement I've ever encountered was not one of these "Drugs are bad, mkay?" advertisements. I was a class in college on abnormal psychology, just knowing how your brain handles that sort of thing is pretty much the best anyone could have done to try to discourage me.

Above the influence is a real campaign! They've actually produced the few anti-drug commercials that I don't hate (as much as the rest of them).
 
This is the only positive thing I can see about the drug war, it exposes the government for the liars they are.

It can only give you AIDS if it doesn't kill you immediately. Did you know that 78% of people die when they inhale marijuana smoke? Out of the ones that don't die, only 23% get AIDS. So the chances of getting AIDS from smoking pot are only about 5%. Seriously, philass, get your facts straight.
