More multiplayer pop-ups?

I'm wondering, is there a way to activate all pop-ups (stuff built in cities, research done, battles etc) in LAN multiplayer? Keeping track of an empire in the later stages of the game is very hard without them.

Yeah, wish I knew. I don't get why they are removed as default. Hehe, I actually keep a notepad towards the later game handy and list the things I need to make sure I change next turn. Then after I change them, go through everything and write any new ones down.

So, I second this question.
