Hmm, aren't the Christian Democrats quite right-winged in terms of economics? Who else should it be then, except maybe the Liberals (arguable)?

I meant, that economically I?d better belong to the Free Democrats, because for example as you know, there are many farmers in the CDU, so it doesn?t like free trade as much as I do. I also would like to see much lower welfare spendings,but investing in R&D.

I have opinions,for which I?m usually classified as right, i.E.

-I?m proud of my country
-I pledge for harsh punishments
-I dislike abortion (of course there are special cases; I?m not Irish)
-I am pro a strong military
-I think, in it?s foreign policy Germany should be more independent from the USA, I don?t see any bad in having good relations with Iran and Libya

What you said makes some sense, but are you sure that the FDP (The Free Democrats/Liberals) wouldn't fit you better?

-As you said they're closer to you in terms of economics
-They're also proud of the country (I think)
-They're not against a strong military
-Their foreign policy is not that much different from the CDU's, but I think most parties agree more on that issue than on most others

Are the other issues (abortion, punishment) that important?
