Ah - these (and, sadly, MANY more) creations of the TopGun & Fire Fox team had to be pulled as items (models; skins; whatever) were inadvertently borrowed from another site. Fire Fox obtained formal permission from some of the other creators, but not all (as an aside, most interesting to me was one chap who didn't want his military creations used in any sort of military simulation at all ) I've been re-u/l-ing as much as my (very limited) time allows.

Thank you for re-uploading such magnificent units. Units from TG-FF are my favourites from a long time, I wish they had made planes for all 31 civs. I don't know who gave them such low ratings in the DB, but these people should be prosecuted for bad taste. I'm giving them A+ right away, but more votes are needed to increase their grade.

Apologies for thread necromancy but it seems to me that this question should be asked. There are at least two publicly available scenarios that use TopGun/Firefox units that were not reuploaded. Question is--what is the risk for creators of such scenarios? Is there any chance that the original makers of models for these units would demand removing them from the game?

Both TopGun's partner Firefox, and H. Balck, used models which violated copyright protection. @Laurana Kanan has informed me that such items can be used for private mods, but cannot be published here at CFC.

As far as I know, they were taken down at the "request" of the copyright holder: so, sadly, no, at risk of litigation.

I'd forgotten about the Tucano: All the Aztec Units (including Wyrmshadow's Fokker D.VII) were all made at my request.
