Since there a most boring thread, I figured, 'what the hey?'

The most confusing movie I've seen recently (in fact one of the few movies that has EVER managed to confuse me) is The Royal Tenenbaums.

I sat there, at first waiting for the story to pick up, then waiting for it to get interesting, and finally waiting for it to make sense. I was sure that if I just waited a little while longer, something would be said or done, and everything would fall into place. Then the credits started rolling.

Did one of you 'get it'? What did I miss?

"The Sphere" didn't exactly confuse me,
But it did seriously run out of steam after 30 minutes!

"The Wishmaster 2" confused me with it's changing
Characterisation, very odd...and crap.

Has anyone ever seen 'Eye of the Beholder?' Perhaps the most idiotic movie ever made! When the screening was fisnished the audience broke out in laughter, and it was a dramatic movie!

The perfect murder.

I didn't really understand the big buzz about the key and how the lady figured everything out because of the key.

Memento was by far the most confusing movie I've ever seen.

Although in retrospect, if they had told the story begining to end instead of the end and begining simultaneosly with the middle at the end, then it would have been a very boring movie. But given the the odd story telling it was a superb movie.

I didn't find Royal Tennenbaums exactly confusing but there was an almost overwhelming amount of plot to absorb. Hell, I didn't even realize that Owen Wilson was supposed to be the kid who lived across the street untill halfway through the movie. I'm sitting there thinking "Who is this guy?"

I guess I've been blessed in my choice of movies, and thus the only bad and wierd one I have seen in the recent period has been "Tomb Raider", a thorough waste of time...

The anime movie Akira is by far the freakiest, most confusing movie I have ever seen. It is almost impossible to understand until the very end, and they don't explain it completely. I had to rewind the tape in many places to rewatch a scene. It was a good movie, though. To this day, I still don't know who the freaky kids are and how Tetsuo got all his powers

Yeah Anime can be pretty screwed up. "Ghost in the Machine" was the most messed up for me.

if you mean "ghost in a shell",than i can agree otherwise im not sure if your talking about the same anime.

Most definintely "Mulholland Drive"

anyone who has seen it has to agree with that

I saw ghost in the machine. It was an interesting, if very weird and hard to follow movie. But I thought all anime was like that :D

I just saw Moulin Rouge about 10 minutes ago. It was confusing to follow at first, and after that, just boring. Love, love love, yadda yadda yadda. It didn't have anything original in it's script, being a takeoff of Carbaret and Shakespeare in Love.

If it's that horror-fairy tale of Snow White...

It was bizzarro, but Sigourney Weaver was hot as the Evil Queen!

Oh mama!

"Legend" or "Leg End" as I call it, was damn strange,
but a visual feast!

Tim Curry was immense as the demonic main villain!

A hoot!

Yes, that movie was VERY confusing. After watching it 4 times, I understood a little better, and I LOVE it! Independent movies are pretty cool. That movie was pretty wierd though, how did he survive putting a drill in his brain? ANd the brain on the floor, I still don't understand that...

You have no taste man... ;) :p :D
