Its not that rare , but if you start with mining , pop bronze working from the first hut that is in the BFC then find copper in the BFC it brings new meaning to early axe rush.

I also got xp from my first two huts with a warrior , gave him woodsman 2 , sent him home as a future medic then got the free leadership event.I had a woodie 2 leadership warrior b4 3000bc

Most generous tech that a hut given me was the bronze working. But I like when I get settlers and worker.

I once found artifacts that gave me a few beaker towards composites, some pretty advanced artifacts!

I got mining from a Hut at the start off the game but when i loaded my autosave bc 4000 and place my city on a other tile i got some money.after reloading again and place my city on the same spot as i started first i got mining again.In the same game i got from a other hut Horse riding reloaded and waited 5 more turns and i got money instead off hose riding.

Once got Iron Working, Metal Casting, and Horseback Riding from three huts. I was the Mongolians too....
