Most Interesting Civs

My fav civ is still Songhai, very versatile and a strong UU and UB. Plus they get lots of gold by taking barbcamps and cities.

Maya is growing very fast on me, nice early archer-units which can be upgraded to super-crossbows, if handled right. And their pyramids with extra beakers is almost OP. Love them.

Arabia, for everything they are as a civ.

Byzantium is always good, Carthage on waterlogged maps is very nice.

Most civs are good in the right environment, so I won't bash any...not even the Huns. :)

It'll be more interesting if you try playing occ.
But it also fun to play 4 coastal cities with ottoman, you could build very strong navy while still focusing on building your cities, to play it well, finish commerce ASAP.

Just got the expansion and I definitely love the Celts creating swathes of faith once religion is founded then banding together a few city states for some conquest! Polynesia is a definite favourite as well, early exploration and settling in far flung islands too. Japan are also a nice easy conquest Civ :)
