Which version, in your opinion, is the most stable? Which one are you playing right now? No shade, I just really want to play Civ 5 without game breaking bugs at the moment.
There was a lot of talk about poverty causing large unhappiness issues in recent versions too but I downloaded a mod to counteract that called Happiness Test: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/poverty.673298/page-4, see balparmak's comment for the download. I play with a host of other mods alongside this version as well and rarely had any issues. The IGE mod (in game editor) sometimes causes CTD issues in all recent versions with certain mods so watch out for that one. Specifically it's not calibrated for mods like More Unique wonders so I reckon that's the culprit there.
The most recent version seems very buggy to me. Lots of people reporting peace deal issues for example. I know all that will get sorted out with a few hotfixes over the coming weeks but in my experience the previous version is generally the best one to go for because usually all major bugs are fixed at that stage.
That peace deal thing has been in for ages, it is in the base game I'm pretty sure. The AI won't instantly peace out right after you take a city. It is certainly not even slightly new.

That is weird; if you mean it's working on 1.4.3 for you. Maybe it's a mod interaction (either something we all have in common or something you use that we don't).
