Which version, in your opinion, is the most stable? Which one are you playing right now? No shade, I just really want to play Civ 5 without game breaking bugs at the moment.

I think the last version https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/new-version-1-3-4-december-27-2021.674669/ was very good.

There was a lot of talk about poverty causing large unhappiness issues in recent versions too but I downloaded a mod to counteract that called Happiness Test: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/poverty.673298/page-4, see balparmak's comment for the download. I play with a host of other mods alongside this version as well and rarely had any issues. The IGE mod (in game editor) sometimes causes CTD issues in all recent versions with certain mods so watch out for that one. Specifically it's not calibrated for mods like More Unique wonders so I reckon that's the culprit there.

If you'd like a full list of my mods let me know. :)

I don't think there are any game breaking bugs in even the most recent version, unless you have a very loose definition of game breaking.

Like poverty is high compared to the other things but it is hardly impossible to deal with.

The most recent version seems very buggy to me. Lots of people reporting peace deal issues for example. I know all that will get sorted out with a few hotfixes over the coming weeks but in my experience the previous version is generally the best one to go for because usually all major bugs are fixed at that stage.

That peace deal thing has been in for ages, it is in the base game I'm pretty sure. The AI won't instantly peace out right after you take a city. It is certainly not even slightly new.

No, this is a different and new issue. When the AI won't peace out after you take a city, it actually tells you it refuses.

Yes, the latest peace issue is that Peace is simply not in the list of diplomatic options, even when the AI desperately wants peace.

Weird, it is working fine for me.

That is weird; if you mean it's working on 1.4.3 for you. Maybe it's a mod interaction (either something we all have in common or something you use that we don't).
