Mountain Tiles

Huh. I guess I've just had really weird luck. I wouldn't even really call that BAD luck necessarily, just odd. Anyway, I guess we're just of different minds in regard to how effective pantheons should be. I see no problem with getting 10 faith from using five pop to work five lakes. It sounds more like the plantation pantheon needs a buff to me.

And the mine one? and the Pasture one? It would be way easier just to tune this down than to tune all other ones up.

Considering lakes are so good you always want to work them no matter what, just letting them have 1 faith is good enough.

Yes? When I said this in the Dance of the Aurora thread, I did mean it:

Dance of the Aurora would be fine if it was either tuned down or made not work on Forest-tundra again. Main problem is that the forest-buff brought it over the line.

Goddess of the hunt is worse than the other improvement-buffers mostly because camps are rarer and it doesn't buff a building aswell for some reason.
Desert folklore is a lost cause.

As for mountains, I just figured it would HAVE to be really strong since they do literally nothing else. 2/1 just seems like a waste of whoever is working it. Still, actual numbers are easily tweaked once the main idea is implemented.

I disagree, I don't think that making everything OP and giving bonuses left and right is good way to balance things. 2:c5science: 2:c5faith: 1:c5culture: is good tile especially if your city is large or/and at war and you don't have much to do. Then your citizens can hide in mountains :) And remember that this is addition to already existing pantheon (which may be very good on it's own depending on your map).

But by the way, I wouldn't mind buffing observatory from 2:c5science: to 3:c5science:. I think it would be just perfect.
