Mouse Scroll Whell Behaviour

In Civ5, you can use the scroll wheel to zoom into any specific point around the whole map area, basically where your mouse's pointer is. However, in Civ6 the scroll wheel just seems to be on a fixed in/out vertical axis. Is this the intention—as it seems a retrograde step I can't imagine it would be—or is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? Thanks.

Bro can you tell me, can I normally go throughout the map with just the mouse like in CIV V? Because in CIV VI i can move map onli with Up, Down, Left, Right arrows...?!
