.MOV files on Windows Media Player 11

Is there anyway I can get .MOV files to play on Windows Media Player 11? Thanks in advance!

i dont think you can, just google quicktime for windows and you can dl the latest version rom apple for free.

You need quicktime in order to view and play *.mov files.

that's personally what I do, since I don't want to have the bloated apple quicktime thingy on my PC

I've got quicktime anyway but that wasn't the question. The reason I ask is beacause I used to be able to play them on there before but now I can't?

Im guessing you had some sort of plugin, because WMP does not support .mov files, and never has by design.

Though Windows Media player doesn't support MOV media formats, you can still install other 3rd party software like VLC
