movement

Movement seems to have tripled!

I installed civ 2 on my new laptop.

It has windows vista.


I don't know if I need to be more specific about my laptop but If you know why this has happened and/or how to fix it could you let me know please?

Are you sure it's caused by Vista? It looks like you're on a road or following a river! (sorry, but since you didn't give too many details, I thought we'd better start from the beginning! )

it never did this on my other pc with xp.



Nope, it applies to any land square, even forest. Horsemen move six on normal grassland. :s

I have civ 2 multiplayer, no patches or anything and I am running on windows 95 compatability mode, otherwise I just get a blank screen.

'No patches or aything'... What version of Multiplayer does it show you you have? There have been a couple patches to the multiplayer game.

ok I meant I haven't added any patches to it.

I don't think I spelt anything wrong, did I?


It is: Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition

and I am playing it single player.

Also, I have checked the rules in notepad and movement is as it should be.

ok I've just played it again and movement is still wierd, not always triple but still not normal.

Another thing that came up was wave out error, and it said that the driver couldn't be found.
