I'm playing on Civ III Vanilla and I was wondering if there's any way to move a stack of units, or do I have to go one by one?

You could try J for move whole stack or ctrl-J for move all units of one type. Also try X and ctrl-X.

Maybe it was introduced in PTW, but it might have been in the last patch of Vanilla.

J moves all in Vanilla. There is no "move all of same type" in Vanilla :(

I beg to differ. I spent years playing vanilla so I know that you could only move all of one unit type in a stack with the [J] move.

It just about blew my mind the first time I tried [J] in Complete. I had just been DOWed and when I hit [j] to clear all my workers out of the town, I suddenly had an empty town with Impis all around.

I have to be very careful still to remember to use the [cont]-J to move just one kind of unit now.

i've never understood the ctrl-J crowd. the ctrl and the J are so far apart! i use x and ctril-x

there is stack movement in vanilla?? how about that. i played half a year of vanilla never knowing there was a stack move.
