Moving Hidden Nationality units in a stack?

I imagine, if it's not a feature now, there must be some messy, deep-seated reason upstream that it can't be done. Is there a hack in the works or even on the table to allow Hidden Nationality units to be moved in a stack?

When I played my first game of Fall Further and selected all three of my stooge giants, I wept with joy. The ability to select multiple hidden nation units SHOULD be in FFH, it just isn't so we will know true suffering and appreciate the little things more.

The reason why hidden nationality units cant be made into a stack is that it causes OOS issues in multiplayer games...

Dont know if Fall Further fixed the issue or just decided to ignore it...

Oh dear, a modified DLL? I don't know much, but I know enough to know that that's serious plumbing.

So is it an issue the team aims to work on, or is the current solution here to stay?

As has been mentioned, Fall Farfther has this fixed. Perhaps it ill be ported back here in time, but it'd be a good idea to play FF if you want this change

It should be a selectable feature. This way for single player it will be fine and can be used, if MP want to risk it and use it they can else they can play it safe and disable it.

Haha, Kael was right when he mentioned in another thread that we always want everything to be a selectable toggle option.

It shouldn't be an option. It should be fixed in the main game like it is in FF, but only when the team has time to work on that and not on other stuff. It's a micromanagement pain, but it's not exactly a game-breaking issue (except that it makes me never cast the Svart worldspell).

If what Moon Hunter said is correct, it is the reason *why* this change should not be made (or if it is, it should be able to be switched on/off.)

meth, you did hewr the words "heavy dll changes"? theres no toggling.

Exactly why it shouldn't be included then? :p Unless they can get around the OOS issue.

Nothing is flawless. If you fix up other people's mistakes, you end up making your own.
