Leha, what did you do to Russia!? nice work - now we have 10 days to finish this.

ok now America is clearly on their own little island, probably stuck in the middle ages with sticks and stones and maybe iron. We can't get to them with our armies without transports, but transports will take a while to research. We are getting lots of gold from razing Russia, I assume? We need to cash-rush some frigates for searching and galleons for transporting things. Science off seems okay. factories will take too long to build (unless cash-rushed), and we can rail for extra production.

This game kicked into overdrive after those Hussars!

We got our GA as well. The Hussar has 7 attack, so I am thinking of it like a really lucky cavalry. 4 civs were pretty weak, China, Zulu, Sumer, and England, so the Hussars, GA, and gaining about 5 armies + Pentagon really put us over the top. Hussar armies can raze rifle cities, so we are now totally in cruise mode.

@team: the other option for victory is domination in which we need to more than double our land area from 553 tiles to 1200, spamming settlers and disbanding units to cash-rush temples. I don't know which would be faster between this and conquest. Probably conquest.

Ok here it is, although I must shamefully admit I cheated. I played 11. That is, I played 10 + one army's move onto Buffalo. I think it's more trouble than anything to get a save for one single unit move. Here's the details:

what happened was really very straightforward:
-Upgrade of all catapults and trebs
-Drop of every spare troop, including a 3/4 filled army, in america
-Destruction

I rushed a galley every other turn on the west coast and I put as many towns as possible on 20 spt hussar production.

On turn 3 we receive the full contingent of american warriors, archers and horses against our troops, but the cover army and muskets only will arrive next turn. 2 heroic elite hussars hold the fort, no leader.
Constantinople falls as well, and Russia is cornered to one city. Look at the loot we get when we take it

So there is only america left, for which we get a helper

With 2 full hussar armies, and no hill cities, you can guess the rest of the story. We've had a very rapid advance on turns 9 and 10, no time to use the cannons I transported over.

They better be happy, them americans, for Austria is now on top of the world.

The Glorious AWE Pangea Save

Very well done everyone. As we can see on the power bars, we've stayed consistently powerful with the Emperor Pangea AI's even with AW on. That kicked some ass.

Nah, I haven't done anything special. More, I consider myself pretty weak player, only lately I've started to learn some tricks, thanks to such great players as Rat, MP, Obormot, Bede and bunch of other guys wich provide sure victory whenever I play with them.

This game definitely was fun.
I will be back in the middle of october, i just ask you guys don't disappear when I'm back so we'll play some more

This ended a lot faster than I thought it would - good job finishing us off, markh and Beorn. I enjoyed this game too. Not too hard, not too easy. I had to think about each move, but didn't feel like a few mistakes would hurt too much. Austria *may* be better than AW than China.
