Multiplayer civ

Hey guys

Is there anyone who likes to play civ multiplayer, without the need for excessive speed lol.
I'm quite the fan of epic games, and those which allow for a player to think rather than rush.
Btw PlayCiv2948 thanks for pointing out that networking program. Also sorry about having a thieving sister

So anyone up for a long winded epic game?

Are you talking all in one sitting, or setting up a schedule for small chunks here and there? I think it would be quite enjoyable if there was a 2 hour Saturday-morning weekly game (with each game typically 3-4 sessions long).

Heck, we could even make it a Diplo-game or Demo-game

Lol probably cut up into small chunks. The kind of game im talking about would be kinda like a single player game with two players, with settings like raging barbarians, barbarian world, wildlands, maybe living world etc.

Basically not the kinda game where you have 4 civs around a central hub working towards druids to paste the floor with each other lol

I play such games all the time. You can possibly join #erebus on irc.irc-chat.net with mirc or other irc client or you can just use the chatlient at the top of the page and chose #erebus as channel instead of civfanatics. There are people playing ffh there almost daily. We do need more people though. As more people means it will be easier to start games.. Obviously the AI is just cannonfooder in most games so the more humans the better. Would be nice if someone could organize some pitboss game with all humans..

Cool! I'd love to join. I don't really use IRC so am unfamiliar with it. When is the best time to play? Or is it an even spread between days?

We mostly play in the evening European time on weekdays(for obvious reasons...). In the weekend we could potentially play at any time i guess.. As i said you can just use the chat option at this site and chose channel #erebus instead of #civfanatics. We can show you another client once you get on if you want. Right now there aren't too many people there though...
