Some things never change. Russia gets bored of peacefully rebuilding and takes on the war path again with some new weapons. Shoshone and Portuguese try to defend from the landships with some new flying machines of their own.

The weapons keep changing but the results stay the same. Both Russia and Portugal fail to take their targets by the time the AIs decide its time to rest. So its time to do a little annexing through great generals, instead!

A relatively peaceful time for the world. However, victory stops for no one. Portugal continues its attempt at a cultural victory while the Russians make enhancements to their own military might.

Portugal starts the war this time, but the Russians look to finish it with the shelling of Te Moak. Greece looks suddenly well prepared for a defensive war as well, causing yet more problems for a Portuguese nation looking to break out.

Russia continues its "posturing" on the border of the Shoshone capital of Moson Kahni. On the other side of the world, Portugal desperately tries to fix their economic situation before the next major conflict.

The war is once again underway. Although the weapons have changed, the end results seem to be the same for the Russians and the Portuguese. Russia attempts to move on the Shoshone capital of Moson Kahni while Portugal once again tries to take Athens.

Russia's iron fist closes in on Lisbon, but the Portuguese have one last surprise to spring.

Russia finally wins the game via Diplomacy. Russia almost had the Domination victory first, but Portugal took the Greek capital of Athens one turn before Lisbon fell. The after action report video shows that Russia's march to victory started early and left a trail of vanquished empires in its wake. Portugal's economic empire collapsed early on with the world congress embargo and was always a step behind on the military scale.
