Dear, CIV IV Fanatics
I am trying to play a multiplayer game of CIV IV and/or CIV IV BTS. My friend and I choose to play us two v.s. all computer players. We use GameRanger to play the online multiplayer.
During gameplay, say about 30 - 50 turns in, we get the inevitable OOS Out of Sync Error. It pops up directly on the map screen in red and flashes. Upon saving and reloading we can play about 1 - 10 turns until it pops up again.
I have cable internet with a Linksys router attached to the modem. My friend uses a Windstream Modem/Wireless (combined unit) for DSL.
What can we do to stop this from happening? Port forwarding? Any advice would be great. I can also provide more information if needed. Thanks!
