Multiplayer Q&A

I have been playing several multiplayer games in LAN, never over the internet. These games ran quite stable for multiple hours. (Using C3C patch 1.22)
So perhaps you could first try a LAN game, and if that works, then check whether perhaps more ports are to be opened?!

I once had crashes in multiplayer, when I deactivated my soundcard in Windows DeviceManager or did not have a driver installed for my soundcard...
Took me a year or so to find the reason for that... Once I installed the driver and activated the soundcard in DeviceManager, the game ran stable and rock-solid again... :D

Hi, boys

When i try to start the game on LAN, it crashes to the desktop. It does not allow you to create a server (throws you out of the game). Who knows what the reason is?

I'm playing on a laptop, how do I check the sound card, bro?
Everything is fine with the drivers
