Multiplayer troubles

Hi.
I tried to play RifE Multiplyer with a friend of mine but he always gets an errormessage that says something like "Exception during function call in XML file Civ4PromitionsInfo.xml" (I will ask him when hes online again for the exact error message but maybe someone has an idea with just the information here).
The error appears when we try to start a multiplayergame (in singleplayer it works fine on both ends). The game then continues loading and starts on my end but when hes done loading he gets a crash to desktop.

I tried swapping his Civ4PromotionsInfo.xml with mine but that didn't help.

So if anyone has an idea .. plz.. and in the meantime i will try to get him to tell me the exact errormsg

Does RiFE work for multiplayer?
I vaguely remember reading somewhere on the site that mp didn't work with RiFE(or maybe it was ffh2?).

I can not confirm it for 1.31+ (mp buddies are STILL playing possum) but it certainly worked for 1.3 and it should work for 1.31 as well.

Should work better for 1.31, actually, given the elimination of a few more OOS issues.
