MultiPolarity II Signups

This is going to be an active NES. I can't wait :)

What are the purpose of territories? Should I have picked a region with more?

Money, population, and more stuff other people have to nuke to kill you. Also yes, unless you've already got 20, in which case good luck finding a place with more.

Territories basically are containers for your population and industry. You will be in the game as long as one exists.

They also determine where you can strike with your air and land forces. Once players start expanding, the placement of capitals, national and regional, will also have a hand in how wars turn out.

Now can I take an entire province in one turn, or is it on a territory by territory basis?

I.E. province in bold?

And this also isn't a NES, it's a IOT.

However many territories you can zerg in one turn.

I still need to create minor powers. :p

And by "you" you mean me.

I suggest you keep an eye on Patriotic Fool, he went into Governments and Politics II (Civ V stories and lets plays) saying similar sort of things as he's saying now, when it was more of a cover so people wouldn't take notice of him.

Needless to say he showed himself to be a fair political player, coming second closest of anyone in the GaP series to overthrowing the established order, once such an order has been established.

^ Jehoshua, I'm still not done. I have one more turn to take out filli and become King.. although my personal morale has been greatly reduced by my failure to breach the palace on the first try.
Anyway, I'm not out yet. In any case, if the warriors crush me and my rebellion, I'll probably concede and resign.

And to everyone else, GaP 2 was my first RP (I really am a noob), but I'll still play with all I got. That doesn't mean you should blacklist me based on reputation (or in this case, things the "old" Russia did 8 centuries ago). That being said, I enjoy playing with you fine gents and starting many fun wars.

Your not done that is true, but lets just say your chances of victory are slipping away by the second. Anyways even though conceding once that time comes is natural, resigning you should not do. The first act may end in your defeat, but the game continues.

anyways, as to this game it will be interesting to see how you play, from GaP at least you seem to be politically reasonable at sticking with allies and working with them, that you are crafty and politically savvy. This should suit you well for this game, and I would say that outside powers who have interests in eastern europe would do well to consider working with you.

The areas with the thick borders are "regions," which have some roles that will be elaborated on later. But basically they are where you place regional capitals and they grant bonuses for gaining control of them.

And this also isn't a NES, it's a IOT.

The potential offense is greater than the actual difference, so I suggest that learning or knowing the difference is less important as long as you can remember which is which. That is to say, on a game by game basis, rather than categorically.

Yes, let us avoid this topic for it always degenerates into, well, bad stuff. Focus on the game, please! The Trusty Administrator 'n' Imperiumofftopicum Operating System(TAnIOS) thanks you all for your cooperation.

More or less yes. You can expand into any tile that immediately borders your current holdings, and five overseas tiles. So at the start, power will quickly go to whoever can build a large army. (on the flipside, said person's economy could become very weak and be vulnerable to spies. Choices, choices...)

And by "you" you mean me.

Kind of yes. I doubt you will be interested in personifying ALL of the 80 or so NPCs we now have(I boosted it from the original 50 to match the huge number of players). :p

Oh, excellent. We have several masterminds collected in one spot. AA and DT's knack for identifying the best route mechanic-wise, and PF and Jehoshua being tactful with manipulation of events.

This IOT shall sail through the air majestically, like an eagle!

...piloting a blimp.

Yet to be seen with regards to PF, my one and only experience with him has been analagous to Xinjiang coming tantalisingly close to success (without the lack of ability to keep commintments part of that).

As to me, Im was just happy that there were three nuclear wars which, myself not being involved, left me completely untouched, but eliminated most of the great powers of the day leaving others to take their places.

I will confess I am half-tempted to run this alongside SoH, albeit with my schoolwork both would naturally be a bit slow as a result.

Alternatively since SoH has just started I can nuke it. :p

I am moving out of Europe, and will update both this and my starting post when i have decided on the details.

Edit: well, took me a while to get this Link working, but that is where I am going.
