Music to Conquer the World By

Good war music would be a fast paced organ music. Example: Toccata and Fugue.

For playing Civ, warmongering or otherwise, Matchbox 20's "Real World" has to be the most appropriate.

Wishing the real world would just stop hassling me,

How bizarre. I got cut off from the internet just after posting a reply yesterday, so I checked today to see if my reply made it onto this thread. Here is what I saw:

Hmm, last post was Oct 23, dang, I guess I'll have to repost. Or so I thought...

During the last game (I was at war often):

Slayer: DIABOLICUS IN MUSICA
Testament: LOW
Machine Head: SUPERCHARGER
Evolution Control Comittee: ROCKED BY RAPE
Alice Cooper: LOVE IT TO DEATH.

I found the Slayer particularly inspiring for the offensive. "I'm the one that brings you war/ infiltrate unguarded shores/ master of afficting pain/ point is where all die."

Attack a size 8 city defended by Mustketmen with a Jaguar Warrior? It's official: Montezuma is smoking dust.

Later!

General play: Richard III soundtrack
During the industrialization phase: Beethoven's 9th
Getting ready for the surprise attack: Mishima soundtrack
Ugly Savage Total War: Last five tracks on the extended version of Liabach's "Opus Dei."

And I've been watching Richard III and Henry V all day to prepare for the test that will be PBEM PTW as the weak English...
