What music do you people like to listen to while playing civ?

The in game music annoys me so i switch it off.

I actually like the music in certain eras. The modern era music drives me insane...

The ancient era, when you have the tribal music is cool. I can groove to that.

Rock/Metal or EBM.

I'll stop listening to ingame music after the Renaissance. The industrial and modern era drives me nuts too.

I'll usually just play the kind of stuff I was listening too before those eras show up. Classical stuff, or more likely, movie soundtracks and ambience. I tend to like music that doesn't have lyrics.

i also find that no lyrics helps the music stay in the background. although often, i just have the tv on.

i kind of like the modern music better than the classical age stuff.........but i usually like some hendrix or zep, pumpkins, u2........maybe a nice long house or breaks set. sometimes i just trun the music off and watch tv.

Italy scored twice in the two last minutes of the second extra time, now thats a game. Unlike the craptacular Brazil x French game a few days ago. I cant belive people paid, what, 300 euro, to watch that game? Incredible.

I actually like all of the music, even the Modern stuff. I actually watched Nixon in China, and liked it, so "The People Are The Heroes" makes more sense to me.

Last of Mochecians(sp) soundtrack and some celtics tunes from The Rood and Dragon mod (Civ3) I like a few of the modern tracks from Civ3 also so I plug them in as well.
My Favorites the one with the War horns and thuds of soliders marching, I think it was created exclusivly for the Rise of Rome/ Fall of Rome Scenarios which came packaged with the 2nd exp of pack for Civ3(Conquests) I never heard it played on the regular Epics but It'll make it onto Civs greatest hits collection , that is whenever Take two decide to drop it!
